I like sharing...

... well, sometimes... but one thing I do like to share is any advice that may make a difference to other people's experience of writing or academic life.

Because I am often asked to review monographs, proposals, and papers, I've had a fair amount of experience of the errors people make when writing fiddly documents like book proposals and abstracts. So I've compiled this advice into some documents that are available here for free and easy download.

Note: This is all my own work/advice - these things differ between disciplines and publishing contexts. It's not the 'final word', just some things you might find useful... Just click the icons below to download each piece as a PDF.
